I'd rather not sell it, but needs must.
I'd rather not ship it, but I travel a bunch
I'd like 1700. It's been gone through, and the original bar dings drop-filled by a professional (not me)

One of the tuners doesn't match, not sure why, but I got it like that.

Underskirt shots

Here's the copedent

Here's my normal route, I should be back on it week after next, although the stretch from Columbus to Cincinnati is generally the middle of the night.
This weekend, I'm going to Dayton and turning around.
Next week I'll be going to the St. Louis suburbs

Exactly. Some people call it "the split Franklin."

I do this as well, a LOT more useful than dropping both strings on one pedal..
Good luck with the sale Lane, thats a lot of guitar for the money, and of course its a bulletproof MSA and will most likely outlive its next 2 or 3 owners... bob

Indeed, Bob it's been a great guitar. Unfortunately, my income took a hit, and a rarely used guitar needs to turn to cash.

Do know what year it is? What brand of pickup? I'd be inclined to jump on it if it had 7 floor pedals, but still pondering.

If you want to come up a bit to reflect the parts, I've got some pedals in a drawer, I've got bellcranks and the other parts.
Given how little time I have off at home with my current schedule, I'm not sure I wanna rod it up, but if you want to rod it yourself, it can have up to 10.

It's a Tonealigner pickup, BTW. Great sound.
I'd asked Mitchell the year, I don't recall if it was 76 or 77.

Dennis, I've been thinking. Add a hundred bucks per pedal, send me your copedent, and if you'll go along with Sho-Bud rods and barrels on 5 and 6, I'll set it up your way.
By using the Bud rods, you can have three pulls PLUS the split with knees.

I have a 1976 model similar to the one you have except mine has a different logo. At some point in late 76 or during 1977 they must have started using the decal. I prefer to keep guitars as original as possible, however, I added two rods with double pulls (tuning from the end and underneath) and works well. So I can get a triple raise on a couple of strings. I have one extra floor pedal and a bunch of rods. Is the whole tuning key tuner different or just the key?
I bought my 1976 new in that year. The pedal action is better than any guitar I've played (like butter), but you have to spend a lot of time getting the brass locking barrels in the correct position and rods in the best positions at the end plate plus pulling the strings to move off of the stops at the same time. Then there's the optional two ball mounting positions
on the pedals. Lots of "put it on, take it off" hours. But, they're a great guitar when time is spent. I gutted mine about 10 years ago, disassembled the changer, cleaned all parts and oiled with fishing reel oil. Also, removed the mounting screws and removed the felt between the screw heads and tightened the wood neck to the max. Aluminum necks need to be lightly tightened for sustain, wood necks tight as possible. Sustain is unreal now. All of the above is what I would do if I was to buy the guitar. It's hours of work and I don't know if I want to get into it right now? So, I wane. It would be a Winter project. I would replace the pickup with a 427 Telonics (personal preference). Monster guitar with an overhaul!

It's not just the button, it's a mismatched tuner.
It's actually in pretty good nick. I got it from Dennis White, but it was all tobaccoed up.

They changed my route: I'm now rolling across Nebraska on Interstate 80, from Lincoln to Sidney.

Hi Lane. I like your 12 string coped.
Did you possibly mean for the D# on string 9 to be a lower on string 8? Or are you raising 9 in place of lowering 8?
Thanks, John

Surprisingly good. As in "if I didn't enjoy C6th so much, the Zum would miss some gigs."
I'll try to make a shootout video this weekend.

It weighs, as 5&5 39.2 pounds in my hands, and 60.1 in the case (if someone plans to take this places, I strongly recommend Hatton split cases. I'm changing runs soon, a California meetup in Tracy, Sacramento, Rialto or Riverside might be a possibility.
