I'm hoping to buy up an entire outfit. D10, amp, pedal and seat. Budget is around $3 G's. Maybe a little more if it's all mint condition.

Plenty of nice D10's around that fit your criteria.
Carters for example. Don't walk from a nice clean Carter priced in the low 2's. They do not last long. Nice clean D10's in this price range , (leaving you with money for an amp, pedal and a seat) move very quickly, so if you see one, don't delay as it will probably be sold the next time you look at the add. _________________ Emmons L-II , Fender Telecasters, B-Benders , Eastman Mandolin ,

Dekley D 10s do come up now and then and go for under $2000. Tough guitars but they are a bit on the heavy side. Steve t |

I've sat behind a Carter or 2. Didn't care for them too much. I have something in the works but wanted to keep this post up to the top just in case of a swing and miss.
Not really interested in guitars much over 10 years old. |

which brand of under 10 year old D10 Steel are you hoping to acquire, along with a seat, pedal and an amp for under $3K ? _________________ Emmons L-II , Fender Telecasters, B-Benders , Eastman Mandolin ,

Good Jim,but as you can see a nice ( newer model) D10 is in the $3k range without the extras, like a seat and an amp !
I believe the $3K for everything had many of us wondering.
$3k is NOT out of line for a quality D10 all by itself, it's quite common.
One day should you think about acquiring a Push Pull, you will have to consider a Steel older than 10 years though !
have fun
