I can't tell to well but it looks like it has 8 strings with 3 pedals, looks somewhat homemade, If you are looking for your first pedal steel I would look at a 10 string pedal steel guitar with Emmons setup for the E9th neck and have at least 2 to 4 knee levers, maybe a carter starter or a GFI single 10 with 3 pedals and 4 knee levers, or a carter pro style single 10 3 pedals and 5 knee levers. steveb.

I am looking at it because it is NOT an E9 or C6. I have no interest in country tunings at all. I am looking for a guitar that I can set up and use with my own tunings. Certainly not a Carter Starter.

That looks like a Bigsby Vol/tone pedal with it. That is worth at least as much as the steel.

I spoke with the owner of the guitar-He says the volume pedal is NOT a Bigsby-It was made by the same gentleman who built the guitar-The auction ended without anyone bidding the $350

Yeah I made an offer of $350 shipped, but wasn't willing to go any further on it without any knowledge of what it was.
