With all the posts i see about folks doing 100,000 mile tune-ups on different brands, just wondered who does them on Dekleys? mine
could stand a good going-over to take out pedal slack, so forth. Do we have any well
qualified Dekley tinkerers on the Forum?

Thurlon,
There should be any number of qualified mechanics that would do the work for you. I'm quiet a distance from you, but would be glad to do it for you. I've worked on a lot of Dekley's over the years.
Shoot me an email and I'll do my best to help you in anyway that I can,,,either doing the work myself or helping you locate someone.

No offense meant to my good friend, BB, who also does outstanding work, but since you're in the Northeast, if you want someone within driving distance, you might want to contact Tommy Cass in Mass. After I saw what he did to this Dekley, I was stunned...
