Does anybody know who this is player is working with Loretta Lynn. Also am trying to estimate the year the approximate year. The photo is in a 70's batch - but that's a 60's Sho-Bud? Thanks in advance for any info.

Say ! Where is that one of a kind Bethel steel he played in some of the Austin videos (Big Jim Murphy). I know I've seen it on here, but I can't find the thread.

As usual - the always reliable Steve Hinson has the story.

Big Murph is one of my all time heroes and I also had never seen an early photo of him. The other great footage is Carl Smith singing "Red Door" and "She Called Me Baby" from Del Reeves' Country Carnival with BJM on a ZB. These aren't on YouTube right now but maybe they will show back up.

Thanks again - we are working on a Loretta exhibit and we needed an ID for the label copy.
