hello steelers...hey this is my latest build.. would like yalls response on it... I made everything but the key head and the rollers... trying to make a good guitar that don't cost an arm and a leg...maybe just a little finger...lol.. the pick up is in the mid 12,s;custom fret board. I made and built every part on and in this guitar here in my little shop...the pick up , the changers everything. and yes it stay in tune . I tune up after every set just like I do when I played all the other ones,. msa, zum, serria, blanton, carter and so on...

Looks good. I applaud your efforts to make a good entry/inexpensive guitar. The only thing I don't like is the fretboard. Too busy and distracting for me. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Awesome job Dan. I am sure it sounds wonderful. Keep up the good work. Its guitars like these that are pure sleeper "tone monsters".
GOD BLESS YOU

That's impressive Dan. I like the looks of the under-carriage. Good job. _________________ GFI Expo SD10, Nashville 112, Steelers choice Pak-a- seat, Carter vol. pedal, Stage one vol. pedal, Peavey Deltafex. Goodrich volume pedal. |

The underneath seems to follow the same principle I did when I built mine - make it strong enough and it ought to stay in tune. You have plenty of mass in there. You can't beat a pull-release for natural tone and sustain.
And take no notice what they say about your fretboard - I wish I had your imagination. As long as it doesn't give you a headache, it's fine _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

Very nice job, that undercarriage especially looks like it is built to last. _________________ GFI SM10 3/4, 1937 Gibson EH-150, 2 - Rondo SX Lap Steels and a Guyatone 6 String C6. Peavey 400 and a Roland 40 Amps. Behringer Reverb Pedal. |
