Ok I need longer speaker cables but not sure what gauge to get and if the length makes a difference I have a rack setup with Stewart 1.2 power amp and a Sarno revelation preamp going into a pair of 15 inch JBLs

For short runs of 10 or 12 ft., I think 16 ga. is fine. I wouldn't go any smaller myself. I use 12 or 14 gauge speaker cables with my rigs.
