This listing is for an early 50s Fender Custom Triple Professional Non Pedal Steel Guitar, 3 legs and original hard shell case.
This guitar is an awesome piece of steel guitar history. With it's string through trapezoid Pickups & short Scale length it has a sound all of its own. There is really nothing else like it.
Everything is working properly and it really sounds great!
The guitar has been stripped long ago and has 4 small holes drilled in the near neck keyhead leftover from the early pedal steel experimentation days. An old repair can be seen when looking at this area. Also the near Neck #8 key has been replaced, it looks a little wonky but it works fine.
The case is in poor shape and is separating on one side but it still holds the guitar well, just don't go throwing it around and you should be fine.
It's not the most pristine example and if you are looking for a showroom piece this is not it but it sure plays and sounds great!!!
