Hey guys, I need to ship a Webb cross country. Any suggestions on:

1 - Best way to pack it?
2 - How to protect speaker and grill cloth?
3 - Any need to protect the reverb tank?
4 - UPS - FedEx - Greyhound?

Thanks

One step that I always take in shipping any rather expensive amp is to remove the speaker and box it separately. In an event that the carton is dropped or falls from any height, it is most likely that if the speaker remains installed in the cabinet, the sheer weight (after experiencing that sudden stop when it strikes the floor) may cause the most severe damage.

Thanks - Both very helpful suggestions. Somewhere I have a JBL box with form fitting styrofoam that will work perfectly for shipping the speaker separate form the amp.
