Beautiful guitar. The pad looks to be half the size of a regular SD-10. I don't
believe I've seen a Rit like that before. Good luck with the sale.

This thing is really cool...It was a 10 string UNI when new.I took out pedal 1 and tightened up the stance on it...Sits upright, and fits ME like a glove...stable, plays great, sounds great....COOL AXE>>>!!
Oh yeah, and a little MOthers polish and she will look brand new...!

Hi guys,
Let me give a little history on that guitar. Gary custom built it for me about 3 1/2 or 4 years ago.
It was designed as a C6 Universal with 7 & 5. The basic setup was Paul Franklin's c6 setup (which I use) and also two pedals to the far right as the equivalent of the A & B pedals on E9 (they raised the C6 to F).
I loved the guitar but work with a straight ahead country band and needed a single E9 so I can play the commercial licks so I sold the guitar to a friend. It is a very special guitar and if I was playing in an Americana band I would go back to the C6 universal in a heartbeat. It will go from jazz to swing to country in a heart beat. The downside is it is pitched two hole steps lower than E9 - so your standard licks are way up the neck. The upside - it is fat & full - like Sneaky Pete on steroids.

It was the last lacquer front guitar Gary ever built - and only because I begged him.

It is a wonderful ax...

"The downside is it is pitched two hole steps lower than E9"

I assume with correct string gauges and re tuning it would play standard pitch?

Beautiful guitar.
