Hello! I am new to the forum, and new to the pedal steel guitar, generally -- though I have been playing guitar (including some lap steel) for a number of years... I recently purchased an older MSA SS pedal steel, which is a bit of a basket case, but has served to pique my interest in the instrument. Now I'd like to get a more serious instrument.
I am looking for a solid single-neck guitar with a pretty standard 3+4 pedal/lever arrangement (best for learning, I'd guess)... If anybody's just got too many pedal steels lying around, and you think you might have something that would fit the bill, drop me a line.

Hello, I have a black G F I ULTRA S 10 with a pad, 4 pedals, 5 levers. It is new. I bought it for $2,800 and never found time to learn to tune it or play it. I would sell it for $2,500 and 1/2 shipping cost if interested. I also have a 2016 HUDSON E9th 6 string 2X2 and haven't learned to play that either. Its like new. Selling for $650 plus shipping. Very light weight.
Thank you
Gloria

Thanks for replies -- I am considering each of these, trying to figure out what I might be able to afford... If I decide one is right for me, I will respond with a pm...

While I'm at it, I'll just put this out there:

I have a vintage 1966 Gretsch 6117 Double Anniversary electric guitar I might be interested in trading towards a good, solid single-neck steel... if anyone's in the market for such a guitar...

I've got my Hudson lightweight 6 string 2 pedal 2 lever E9th steel up for sale right now on the Forum and I just can't bring myself to sell the GFI. Hope you find a steel you will be happy with.
