Really like the overall design of the steel, the shape of the body and headstock. I like the positioning of the jack.
Not too thrilled about the volume/tone knobs sticking out of the back. They look like an accident waiting to happen. I can imagine it might be easy for one to accidentally stand the steel on it's knobs.....too easy for possible damage. _________________ Four Pettingills and a Clinesmith Aluminum. I agree with the positioning of the volume control might be a little awkward. It might make it difficult to do swells with your pinky finger. But I don't really know for sure. Also just a small aesthetic criticism ; I feel the wood tone of the fretboard it's too similar to the wood tone of the body ...something with more red 'maybe would contrast very nicely. As always ;beautiful builds. _________________ Visit my Studio: LimeStoneLabs at.. http://Facebook.com/LSlabs

James got fret wire installed an dots I think it look s little better know. But haven't glued fret board on so I'm going to do your suggestion using natural red padauk from Africa. An black wenga or maple frets. |

I like it. Nice use of contrasting woods.
