Saw a Mooney pedal steel four pedals/five levers for sale for $1800. Anyone give me any info on this brand? Any help is appreciated. I'm new to the steel world so need help. Thank you! |

I'd own one. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

The one Bill Lowe mentioned belongs to me. Great guitar and the only reason it is up for sale on Reverb.com and on The Forum is I am moving away from keyed steels in favor of keyless due to some right hip surgery I had in 2014 and 2016. The longer guitars make it difficult for me to reach the left most pedals and RKR LEVERS.
Joseph, if the Mooney is nearby, have a steel-playing friend check it out for you. The price is very fair if it does not have any major problems.
good luck, Steve t |
