The Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash played our little town this evening, with Charlie Wallace on steel. Great honky tonk band - the crowd loved it. Lots of familiar country tunes. Charlie's no slouch on steel. Also, Jerry Logan on bass - I've shared a stage with him a few times. Perfection!

Nice!!!

Those of you in the Bay Area can see Charlie doing double duty tonight with The Bastard Sons and our band, The Carolyn Sills Combo, at Don Quixote's in Felton. CW plays non-pedal in our band.

Jerry Logan is a mighty fine bassist and a great guy too!

We're looking forward to a fun night with Mark and the boys.

Bummer I couldn't make it - really wanted to go - but just returned from a week long business trip to Chicago and couldn't pull it off.

Since I also have a red GFI Ultra (keyless) it would have been cool to hear someone who can actually play the thing with a high level of skill. Wink

His GFI doesn't have a C pedal - he raises his 4th string to F# on a lever instead. Lots of trick changes on that guitar. Whoa!
