Fred is building me a 3/5 Pro Lite and called me today so I could hear the first note, I don't know who was more excited, Fred or me. I have two custom instruments that I play every day (dobro, open back banjo), nothing beats the joy I get out of playing these instruments and can't wait to add Fred's instrument to my herd, I've been blessed to be able to pursue my musical interests. _________________ Banjo, Dobro, Guild D-40, Telecaster, Justice Pro Lite 3x5, BOSS Katana 100, Peavey Nashville 112 in a Tommy Huff cabinet, Spark, FreeLoader, Baby Bloomer, Peterson StroboPlus HD, Stage One VP.

Fred's a good one. Builds a great guitar. I couldn't find a late model used JUSTICE recently is the only reason I'm not playing one now. Chuck Back also builds a great guitar and I found one of the DESERT ROSE guitars and couldn't be happier. |

That Pro Lite is the one I don't need but am thinking of having one built for me anyway.
Fred's guitars are so nice, it just makes me want to have one even though I don't need it.
Yes it's also that back pain thing, but more that they are so beautiful and well made.
Looking at the herd it hard to decide which one looks best because so many do.
Just ordered a Telonics 409 pickup so it will be ready when I am. _________________ Inlaid Star Guitar 2006 by Mark Giles. SD-10 4+5 in E9th; http://luthiersupply.com/instrument-gallery.html

Congratulations Bruce,
Bet you'll be a happy fellow next week
Just had a look at the herd, Is it two tone blue or is that just the lighting? _________________ Inlaid Star Guitar 2006 by Mark Giles. SD-10 4+5 in E9th; http://luthiersupply.com/instrument-gallery.html

Andy: Just your basic Justice one tone indigo blue, basic doesn't do it justice ðŸ˜. I was thinking black from the beginning but when my wife suggested I order one I thought of her favorite color, blue, there was no hesitation. Fred's indigo blue is beautiful, can't wait to see mine. _________________ Banjo, Dobro, Guild D-40, Telecaster, Justice Pro Lite 3x5, BOSS Katana 100, Peavey Nashville 112 in a Tommy Huff cabinet, Spark, FreeLoader, Baby Bloomer, Peterson StroboPlus HD, Stage One VP.

That color is nice.
Not sure why but I was never into all black guitars.
Like I said, don't need it but think I'm going to order one of his Pro Lite models.
The big decision is deciding on color combination.
There are at least 20 in the herd that I like a lot.
The only thing I'm sure about now is I like that split front apron.
Bet you'll be hard to drag away from that for a week or so after it arrives. _________________ Inlaid Star Guitar 2006 by Mark Giles. SD-10 4+5 in E9th; http://luthiersupply.com/instrument-gallery.html
