I bought this guitar couple months ago of the local Craig's List.... buyer said all the parts were there.... guitar was filthy, and had some goofy snowflake stickers all over.... I took it all off, cleaned the guitar, took it apart, and cleaned all underneath as well...when I started putting back together I realized parts were not all there.... I took the guitar to Steel Guitars Of Nashville, and had them put it together... it was not a cheap task, I can tell you that, and at the end I actually lost couple hundred bucks on the deal, but this little U12 Carter got a new lease on life lol.... Buck did the great job of putting it all together, and after all that time guitar is ready to go to its new owner.... here are couple pics of the guitar after I got done cleaning, and after Buck set it up....enjoy....

You say it's been sold, Damir? I could use a pretty white one like that. Very Happy

Any idea what it weighs? My Zum SD12U is about 38 lbs. That Carter should be a few lbs. lighter.

I don't know how much it weighs exactly, but it is S12, so I would guess around 30lbs . couple pounds +/- .... way to go if you are like me, tired of 100 pounds double necks lol

After a couple of back surgeries, I'm pretty conscious of what things weigh. The Sierra in this photo weighs almost 54 lbs. The GFI is about 33 lbs. I'm hoping to start gigging with the GFI soon. I still play the Sierra on gigs--great guitar.

yes, Sierras are great guitars, but so are GFI's as well... I am cutting all the way down to keyless S10 Excel and will get me a nice Fender Rumble amp with 12" speaker... that is as light as I can get it lol
