The 6xxx serial numbers are 80's push pulls. Mine is 6737 which I think is an 83 or 84. Mine is a D-10 but think they used those serials for all models.

I had (I no longer have) what I thought was a 1980, S12 P/P universal. The serial number was S12-190.

This was the guitar I had that Lloyd Maines autographed (see the Lloyd Maines thread in the "Steel Players" page.
