I've tried a lot of different strings, but I always come back to GHS Boomers. They just sound right to me - well-balanced and even. Plain steel and nickel-plated wound.

Pedal Steel Boomers are my "Go To" string also. Available everywhere, fairly priced, nice and bright, consistent quality, and the new packaging insures freshness. When I want stainless wounds I use Supersteels. I'm a fan.

GHS Boomers All I have ever used since Sho-Bud quit selling strings. That's a while!  Never had a problem, both E9 & C6. Do not care for Stainless.

The forum store is a separate system with its own passwords. You can order as a "guest" if you don't want to create an account there.
I expect the sale will end on Monday, unless we sell out over the weekend.
