Had the distinct pleasure of visiting Mark Van Allen yesterday at his studio.
Great player and has a kick ass studio where has produced many recordings and more specifically, teaching materials. My pick was the theory teaching CD.
Mark is the real deal.l And, my hats off to him for making super great material to help understand the pedal steel more!
Thanks Mark for a great visit! _________________ Traveler, Peddler and Extreme life lover. Giving up is not an option.

Wow, thanks, Charley. The pleasure was entirely mine… I'd say we have to plan some more time for the thousands of hours we could spend talking steel! Travel safely! _________________ Stop by the Steel Store at: www.markvanallen.com

You lucky dawg, Charley. I count Mark as one of my virtual friends and would love to see and hear what he works with.
I've listened to and learned from the theory CD. Ditto to what Mike said as well. It'd be a privilege to meet the guy.
For him, of course! |

Mark’s Course is excellent. Well organized, lessons build upon each other, and the Audio Format (transferred to my MP3 Player) makes reviews easy, even while ‘on the go’,
I very strongly recommend! |
