I was in Nashville around 1966 and seem to remember a steel player with the last name of Sugg. Does that trigger a bell for anyone?

That Kevin Suggs looks too young, considering the 70's picture of a young kid.
I too would suspect Hal Rugg. |

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. Although Hal Rugg would be a very good guess, this fellow's last name was either Sugg or Suggs and he would have been about 35 years old in 1967 or so.
