I've got an earlier version. I'm wondering if there is any db increase in signal if anyone knows. Didn't see any indication of that in the spec info.

When they're dialed in and with a good tube, the gain is unity. No boost, no cut.

Will it clip when driven by a hot pickup? My Rickenbacker A22 and B6 have very high output pickups but don't distort any of my amps at all. At least from what I can hear. Haven't put a scope on the output but may do that just for grins one day.

Lots of headroom at the Black Box's input, very hard to clip with any pickup.
