If I pushed or released pedals A & or B 50 time during a song X 50 songs in a night X 90 nights in a year X 44 years that is about 10 Million actions.
If we add knee levers.....
If we add practice time...
I think I need a nap, my left foot... _________________ '70 D10 Black fatback Emmons PP, Hilton VP, BJS bars, Boss GE-7 for Dobro effect, Zoom MS50G, Stereo Steel amp, Telonics 15” speaker.

Next, figure out the calorie burn. Maybe a new weight-loss program in the making (e.g., 'pedal the pounds away' or 'pedal down the pounds').

I had a nutty idea at one time of building a small box with a microcontroller with GPIO, and writing a little program that just counted lever and pedal moves over some period of time.
I kinda ran out of interest while trying to figure out what kind of sensors I'd use, and how to mount them on a guitar non-permanently. It's actually a fairly trivial engineering problem, but I lost interest.. I guess I just decided I didn't care that much. |

Sounds like a great justification for proper lubrication... |

Years ago I mounted a small mechanical trip-counter up under
the cabinet and ran a tally on the number of 'pedal plunges'.
I'm sure I would've used the 'A' pedal, since that seems to get
the most action, but it's been so long ago I can't begin to
recall any 'nightly numbers'.
