Amazon has the "Pedal Steel Guitar" book:

They do not seem to have his "Manual of Style".

The "Manual of Style" sounds great, I would really like to see the close-up photos of the right-hand position of the great players!

I just ordered my copy of Winnie Winstons' book from Wal-Mart. You're right, it was cheap,$13.83 plus shipping (mine was $1.97). The book comes with the CD also. A pretty good deal I think!

I got my book back when that little floppy record came with them. I would like to find a cassette or cd to go with it. My record is long gone.

I've looked into it today. The book retails for $21.95, includes CD. (My first one had the floppy record, too!) I'll sell it shipped to the lower 48 for $17.50, media mail. This is a special for forumites. If it helps you, we'll both be happy.

Sincerely,

Jon

I looked at the price on my copy, it says $6.95. Ah yes... inflation...

Lyle,
Did you get a hold of one? If not, I'll send you one for nothin' - I have two. If you already have one, I'm sure someone here could use it!

Dear Steve, Got the book yesterday in brand new condition. I wish I had it 35 years ago when I first sat down at my brand new ZB Custom D10. You have just re-inforced my thoughts that steel guitar players are some of the most generous and kind people in the world, and I mean the whole wide world.
