yes Bill, you would know, you owned some of the high dollar guitars yourself, this is definitely one of those, high end. boutique steel's ... this guitar was used by Johnny Cox to promote Jackson guitars at many different steel guitar shows... there is some YouTube videos of Johnny playing it... I am not sure how many of "Shot Jackson Commemorative" models were made all together, but they don't come up for sale often, actually hardly ever do ... pretty rare guitars I would think... and amazing in every aspect...

Damir,

I shouldn't stick my face in here because I am a lap steel guy, but I check out every one of your posts.
You have the most beautiful guitars for sale that I have ever seen. This one is no exception.
I love looking at the photos. The keyhead on this one is amazing.
If I was 20 years younger I might give it a try.......... Oh Well
Best of luck in your endeavors.

Damir,

A truly spectacular and rare guitar. And possibly the most advanced pull/release guitar ever made. You surly have the special touch for finding the rare birds. Would it be possible for you to post some closeup pictures of the undercarriage? This is likely a once-in-a-lifetime chance for many of us to see this type of advanced design of a pull/release mechanism.

Hope it is not too much to ask, and keep those fantastic steels coming, Bryan

I just got this guitar, and it does have what seems to be a small sharpie mark behind the E9 key head, case has couple screw holes, so I decided to lower the price accordingly to $5500 + shipping .... other then that, this guitar is unbelievably smooth, with amazing positive solid stops... this is like a Sho~Bud on steroids big time... if you like Sho~Bud tone, this is definitely guitar for you ...

Damir,

Big thanks for the pix. I will have to spend some time studying the mechanics. There are some unique features like the slotted fingers for one.

This is one to keep forever,

Thanks, Bryan

Bryan, you are very welcome my friend...this is an amazing guitar, and I think there might be an interesting story behind it, I am waiting on Dawn Jacksons email with some more details about this fantastic instrument, and will let you know what she says when I get it...

Eric, that's what I said when I got it ... I believe Jackson makes Super Pro V at the moment, but I believe "Shot Jackson Commemorative" is out of production... and this could very well be the vey first one "SJC" ever made... amazing guitars...traded
