You might expand your search to the fx 25 B - same whonk, less whack.

Paul: Thanks. I'm actually trying to get a sound that is sort of like an automatic wah-wah pedal. A friend told me, that was an envelope filter, and someone at the music store recommended the out of production Digitech FX-25 and said it was good and cheap, but no longer being made.
