| I have 2 Nashville 400 amps. I have a Goodrich L120 stereo volume pedal. Does any body know what the settings would be for each amp? |

Food for thought use a boss stereo delay pedal or find a good used Peavey ProfexII and you will not regret it.... Slim

Tone is subjective, and like beauty, is in the eye (ear) of the beholder. Don't rely on us for this kind of thing, twiddle with the settings on each till you find the tone that you like.
A cool thing you can do with 2 amps is to have both stereo chorusing, and stereo delay. I hooked up a chorus with one input and 2 outputs,and then hooked up a mono delay unit, set 100% wet, to one of the lines from the chorus. When I turned it on, only the signal to one amp was delayed.
I found I could use either the chorus or delay at any time. When I tried to use them together I felt they they conflicted with each other.
Remember, effects are like hot chili peppers. A little goes a long way.

| Used them like that back in the early 90's. I put the amp settings the same on both amps. Used a stereo chorus to drive both amps. Also used a delay pedal also. Made a stereo effect sounds. I ran two channels through the PA. The sound would sweep back and forth through the mains. Was one heck of a sound. Set the Nashville 400 EQ settings close to the settings that Peavey recommends for pedal steel and you will have it pretty close. |

| Drive both amps from the outputs on the chorus pedal. Don't drive them off the volume pedal. Sounds way better from the stereo chorus pedal.Use a very light chorus setting. A little bit of settings will go along way. Don't forget to muse some reverb. |

| Reverse the speaker wires on the terminals on one amp. Sounds huge using two amps and only take a few minutes. |

Since they are the same model of amplifier, if they are sitting next to each other, won't this make the whole thing sound thinner?
They should be out of phase with each other if you do this, and will/may cancel each other out.
This is assuming that you are not using any external effects, in which case all bets are off with regards to phase relationships. |

| JD Maness did this on two of his Evans amps. I heard them in person from the fellow who bought these amps. HUGE sound. I did it also with several of my amps. You won't hurt the amp by reversing polarity. Try it and see if you like it. Costs nothing and takes a few minutes to reverse the wires. |

You may or may not like the out of phase sound. Perhaps the best thing to do would be to install a switch and compare the sounds and see which you prefer.
