I'm just going to start a thread and put these here... easiest way to organize them I think. I'll do another thread summing up the show etc... very tired and happy now, unloaded the stuff and in my own bed tonight!

Let's start with a real surprise... how many of you knew that Dawn Jackson was a superb singer-songwriter? We had an empty spot to fill and she stepped up to the plate and hit one out of the park... Zane King accompanies her on the Jackson palm-lever dobro, along with Charlie Irwin, bass, and Ron Erwin, snare. This lady is the real deal, enjoy.

Here's Steve and Donna Palousek... I published this under the schedule thread already, but I'm putting it here to organize them better. Thanks for playing for us, y'all... love that Night Life without pedals!

Here's Doug Jernigan doing it old school... probably the most amazing talent I saw at the show this weekend... a real privilege to have him on our stage. Watching these folks leave the pedals behind and still killin' it is something else. Love the way he and Carco bat the ball around. Sorry about the focus issues, the camera has been punished!

Thanks Chris... since most folks can't get down to Texas every year, I want to share this with everyone I can. The RANP show is free... so there's no monetary consideration regarding ASCA P / BM I (watch how you mention them, don't speak their name lightly!). Downstairs video is prohibited for these reasons.

Here's Billy Robinson and friends... Billy has opened the show every year I've been going, and it's always wonderful to see his smiling face and hear his stories... and he has a lot of good stories! From here on out I'll be posting in chronological order.

Wow! What an absolutely, incredible, fun time! I had so, so, much fun. Thank you Stephen for asking me to be a part of it all. Just awesome!
...and, I think that I am, officially, Dawn Jackson's biggest fan. She just rocked! Everyone was great! It will take me days, no, weeks, to come back down to earth!

Mike, thanks again for your (sizeable) contribution... the CD's were a big hit. I can't believe that Herb Steiner didn't have one yet... I made sure he got one (not for free!)... all jazzbo's should have it for sure. Here's hoping you can make it next year.

Jana, you were such a help... you and your husband are now officially indispensable to the RANP show.

And I'm with you on Dawn... you can hear me gushing on the video, it's actually emabarassing to listen to now. Turns out her CD's are available on iTunes and CDBaby, so go get them! She's got one video on YT, it's old and not done well IMO... she's much better live! We'll have charts etc for her stuff next year, so watch out!

Don't worry Tim... you'll get your Herb dose soon.

Here's Margie... as usual, Byrd's ghost is hanging around the hall. Love Margie and Don, hope to get many more years out of them at the show. Her smile always lights me up!

Going through in chronological order... next is Captain Ivan Reddington, a true aficionado and friend of the room. Always love to see Ivan and Dee at the show.

Thanks for the donation Tim... really appreciated.

This next one is of DMinor and Donna... really great act, I think I'd seen these folks hanging around the Benoit room in the past, but now we're well acquainted! The 10-string Benoit dobro DMinor's playing is an extraordinary instrument, and he's definitely the master of it! Enjoy.

Here's Chuck Lettes' set... wow. I've seen him on here many times... but I hadn't got to give him a listen. Super player... playing an 80 year old frypan! Thanks Chuck, you must come back next year. Carco is in there too, of course.

https://youtu.be/BmHov_Yl6Lg

BTW his name sounds like 'lets'... sorry for mangling that Chuck!

Here's Bob Blair's set... quietly wonderful, as is Bob. I'm really loving Jana Lockaby's introductions... not sure how we got along without her before, but here's hoping she can do the emcee'ing far into the future. Thanks Bob... thanks Jana.

Here's Gary Thorsen's set... Gary and Mary Cameron just got out of the studio with Redd Volkaert and Floyd Domino (among others) recording a new album... can't wait to hear it, guys! Paul Anastasio accompanies them on fiddle, along with the usual suspects. Sorry about missing Mary on the first chorus of 'Hey Good Lookin'... I had to go to the bathroom!
