Early sixties Gretsch Chet Atkins Country Gentleman amplifier with tremolo and built in tuner. Absolutely the best condition for this era Valco made amp I have ever seen. There is zero chassis rot common to these Valcos and there is no wear on the original Tolex. Looks like an amp that has been in the warehouse for over 60 years. Features RCA black base tubes (two 6L6) and original Utah silver-dome speakers that sound absolutely phenomenal. Tube rectifier and massive transformers. What's wrong with it? The 's' in the logo is half broken off and one of the glides is missing. That's it. You can buy this original, split-chassis beast for about the same as a new circuit board model Supro reissue. Local Nashville pickup okay.

Should be in the Country Music Hall of Fame with Chet's 1959 Country Gentleman. _________________ Rittenberry Prestige SD-12,Mullen G2 SD-12 ,Mullen PRP S-12 BMI S-12 V8 octal, BJS Bars, LiveSteelStrings,Steelers Choice Seat. |

Good idea, Lyle. I'd loan it to them if they would agree to display it. _________________ "I am certain of nothing", Anthony Bourdain |
