Here is a transcription of a solo by Eddie Bush on 'My Little Grass Shack In Kealakekua, Hawai'i', 1934. It appears on the excellent Grass Skirt reissue of examples of his playing between 1929 and 1939. Les tells me that unfortunately they have sold out but there may be a couple of copies left with Robert Armstrong in California. Sad because the tracks have been well chosen and the transfers are wonderful.

Cheers, gentlemen. I am pleased that these tabs are of interest. I am moving through quite a bit of Hawaiian material of the 1930s at present and will post a beautiful Dick McIntire chord solo soon.

I am particularly interested in 6th styled tunings in this period such as C#m and F#9. I have all the electric Sol tracks and quite a bit of McIntire. La Rosita by Sol K Bright is also a standout and I will be tabbing that soon. (Thanks to Mike N. for his great video.)

I would be interested to hear of any other recordings of the 30s that people here particularly enjoy that they think may employ a 6th tuning of some sort.

Wow Guy,
this really is the style I'm after!
I especially dig the start of the second page when it goes swinging off the G7 to the C.
That D# just bites my head off as it goes to that low part of the solo...
Do you have that last part on a page 3 ?
I really love these transcriptions you're putting out!
