Does someone know the steeler on this outstanding Stoney Edwards recording from 1971? Maybe Curly or Weldon?

Stoney's very first track from his very first recording session.
Recorded September 11 1970 Capitol Recording Studio, 1750 North Vine St., Hollywood 28, CA – Stoney Edwards (Producer: Earl Ball) [overdub session September 21] |
I don't think the Nashville steelers ever flew to LA to make a recording at that time. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

'Could be Emmons. The playing is similar to Buddy's work on Roger Miller's 1970 album, A Trip in the Country.
Keep on pickin'!

It sounds quite a bit like an early Emmons to this old codger.
Jerry Byrd and others traveled to Los Angeles to make several great records with Jimmy Wakely in 1949. |

Of course, Buddy Emmons! That makes sense. Thanks for your help! _________________ 1974 Sho Bud "The Professional"; 2017 Show Pro D 10; BJS Bar "John Hughey"; Goodrich Steel Driver III; Live Steel Strings |

Another one! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jvy2hYHW2Lo
They are no musician credits on the Capitol Records album (as there were on popular records). Other tracks don't sound so much like Buddy, but I could be wrong. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

As to what I know, Stoney Edwards cut records with numerous steel players including Weldon Myrick, Pete Drake, Lloyd Green, Jay Dee Maness and Buddy Emmons. _________________ 1974 Sho Bud "The Professional"; 2017 Show Pro D 10; BJS Bar "John Hughey"; Goodrich Steel Driver III; Live Steel Strings |
