Round clips on Emmons LeGrande pull rods

Just curious the best method to remove the small round disc shape clips from LeGrande pull rods? Then when reinstalling them? Thanks in advance.

I use the tip a small xcelite screw driver to get them off, and after lining them up with my fingers or small needle nose pliers, I push them home with a 3/16 nut driver.

I believe Clem Schmidt sells a tool to do just that.
Do a search on ebay. He also sells bellcranks for p/p's that can be slipped on and off easily along with a half step fine tuner.
