Randy, you are so right my friend, I love Mullen guitars, and this guitar reminds me of my old Mullen I used to have, thats why I priced it close to the price of new RP Mullen, this guitar is practically new... awesome guitar, if I didn't need money, I would have never sell it... _________________ https://steelguitarsonline.com/ |

I like the way the cross shafts go from the front apron to the back..very well made..no short cuts on this SG..wonder why they stopped making them??...looks like a top shelf quality product. |

I don't know for sure, but I'm thinking they made the same mistake as Sierra, they just built expensive guitars, which cost too much to build, high quality instruments that were just too expensive to produce.... this is easily $4500 guitar new, and this one looks like it just came out the shop ... amazing guitars _________________ https://steelguitarsonline.com/

thank you my friend, I'm surprised this guitar haven't sold by now, it is practically a brand new guitar...I'd like to have one nice, modern steel, so I'll probably keep either this one, or my D10 Rittenberry, but tax time is here, and Uncle Sam is knocking on my door again... _________________ https://steelguitarsonline.com/ |

Jesse, you offered me a "butt load" of bass guitar equipment,I am not a bass player,I can't use any of it...so I asked around Nashville about it, and I told you what guys told me... I also said I will take your Sho Bud in partial trade... _________________ https://steelguitarsonline.com/ |

Jesse, you told me you will try to sell it to someone who knows more about bass guitar equipment, I would be glad to sell you this steel after you find a buyer for your stuff... I just don't know enough about the bass gear... once in awhile I would take a nice banjo, acoustic guitar or dobro in trade, but I try to stay away from gear I don't know enough about... _________________ https://steelguitarsonline.com/ |

Damir,
First, Jesse, go to https://www.talkbass.com/
There are some great guys with high ratings for buying and selling bass gear. Similar to our forum. Good luck.
Second, Damir, you run a first class steel shop, probably right not to over diversify (IMHO). Keep up the good work finding these amazing steels. High drool factor. One of these days....

thank you my friend... I am lucky to be in Nashville, and know a lot of steel players who always looking to buy , sell or trade ... I don't have a shop, there is just not enough profit in dealing with steel guitars to make a living doing it, it's just a hobby, and a chance to try and play all those wonderful steels out there ... this Performance was a part of an estate of an older gentleman who passed on, the story goes he sold his custom ordered lacquer Emmons to order this brand new from Jerry, soon after he got the guitar delivered, he got sick, and guitar ended up under the bed...he played it couple times at his church, and thats about it...his widow just recently decided to let it go, and so here it is, virtually a brand new Performance , superb craftsmanship ,awesoe tone, and plays like a butter... _________________ https://steelguitarsonline.com/ |

Designed and owned by Jerry Brightman, the Performance guitar was and is a very premium guitar, probably would go for 5 large in today's market. Forum member John Billings probably had a hand in building this guitar. When I played a demo guitar brought to Columbus by Danny Hulihan, I believed it to be the most mechanically superior pedal steel I'd ever seen. _________________ D.S. Rigsby |

If this steel sounds as good as it looks it is a winner..too bad someone did not do some sound clips from it, like our good friend Greg Cutshaw did on his new extended Eth 12 string Williams Steel. Too bad they went out of business. |

sound clips will not really show much, it will sound like the player who is playing it, I know guys who set behind Buddy's steel, and said it was the most aweful sounding guitar they ever played lol ... I have never seen anyone playing Performance, and I could find only one half way decent video of Jerry playing it, but I talked to some friends who saw Jerry playing it in person, and they said it sounded great...it is pretty rare guitar, and I've never seen one in this condition before... _________________ https://steelguitarsonline.com/ |
