Anyone on the forum playing one of Reg Dillers pedal steels? They were made just outside of Hagerstown Md but I am thinking Waynesburg Pa? Could be wrong on the town.
I owned this guitar at one time, it was a Universal, I think 8 pedals & 5 or 6 levers. Worked real good.
any info appreciated
thanks

Ernie: Yes, I know a little info on those. I met Mr. Diller one time. Ronnie Eyler from Waynesboro, Pa. had one of those in his collection. I think he sold it about two or three years ago. I was thinking about buying it. Tommy..... |

Tommy:
I remember selling the Universal that I had to some guy down around Frederick Md I think he had a small music store, but its been so long ago & my memory is not as good as it once was, I guess he sold it & moved on. Reg Diller & his son brought that guitar up for me to play one time I had sold every damned steel I had & didn't have one to play, Reg was a great guy & I just lost track of him, I guess he is gone by now. I sure would like to know who has that Diller Universal. Reg sent me a decal for the front of the guitar, but I had already sold it. Maybe one day it will turn up on the forum, who knows??
Don't forget to stop & see me if you come up to Deep Creek Lake this summer.
