I am looking for a couple of decent studio monitor speakers for my home studio. Not looking to spend tons of money but will entertain most prices. Thanks |

Hi, Douglas, I have a mint condition set of Tannoy PBM5 II monitors that would probably do the trick. I'll email you...

I like my Event TR-8XL pair. Seems like they're about $600 at Musician's Friend. If you want to spend less than that, Behringer makes some similar powered monitors for less.

Doug,
I've had the KRK ST8's for about two months, and if you don't need active speakers and have an amp, they are GREAT. I just love them. I did a lot of research before buying them. 8" woofer and 1" tweeter. Zzounds had the best price. http://www.zzounds.com/cat--KRK--3170
I think they're $110 each plus shipping.

I have 2 EV Sentry 505's that I bought for a home studio that never materialized. These are great speakers. They are wedge shaped and are 26" wide x 23" high. The original retail was $1400 for the pair. I will take $400 plus shipping. |
