on my Sho-Bud the E-9 neck has a 4th pedal that lowers the string #'s 5, 6, and the 10. What note should they be tuned to when lowered?

Hi Jim,

Sounds like a "Franklin pedal", which lowers both Bs to A, and G# to F# (a whole note on each).

Enjoy. I use the G# to F# sometimes (although on a separate lever) and the B to A for some licks.
