Can someone bestow information about the Showcase 41"s by Bill Stokes in Rowlett, Tx. Or better still, does anyone have a set they have never used. I would like to know the history on these and if they are still available. Thanks. Best picks I've ever owned. |

I can't tell you anything about them, but I use them to play banjo, and steel, and like them a lot, although I think I might like Hoffmeyer picks a little better for banjo.
You can see and get them here: https://www.elderly.com/pair-of-showcase-41-picks.htm
Good luck

I have been using them for several years and love them. They are thick, heavy, and really dig in. I get better tone with them than thinner ones. In a recent thread on picks, Tommy White said they are his choice. 'Nuff said? _________________ Bill Cunningham

I bought a set from Herby Wallace in 2004. I've been using Showcase 1941's ever since. I bought a new pair last year, got them from Janet Davis music, on line. Took a while to get them as they were out of stock for a couple of months and I was on a "long list" of orders for them. (they are currently shown out of stock).

JDMC is apparently closing down and is not restocking inventory. There is more information about this on the banjo hangout.

I've been using the Showcase '41 picks for 17 years. They're my absolute favorites. I think I'd better order a few sets to have in reserve... just in case.
