I use a NV112 most of the time. It has the Mod reverb,EPS 12C speaker, and chip upgrade along with a Wampler Faux Analog delay.
I also use a Stereo Steel , TC Electronics M One XL with a pair of JBL D 130's.
But most of the time it's the NV112.

| Started with a Nashville 112 wich i didn't care for but i added a Black Box & it was better. Then an MB 200 & a Black Box through a 15" cabinet. . Now just going straight into a Milkman Half & Half & it's my favorite. Really happy with it. |

I have a Half and Half with a Telonics 12 in the open back amp, and it sounds great: but is fatter and rounder when i add the closed-back extension cab with a 15

I use a Telonics TCA500 combo amp with my 2 Show Pros. I love the outcome of that marriage.

| Brian, my Milkman has the 15" speaker. I am really happy with it. My D-10 Show-Pro has Alumitone pickups & i like the combination of them together. |

Bingo, Jerry.
Since Tim's family were dairymen, his amps all have casein-based model names (except for the Pedal Steel and Sideman).
It's got a hand wired tube preamp and a 300W Class DBang und Olufsen power amp module. A most excellent amplifier.

| I have both a Nashville 1000 and a Fender Steel King. I just can not get the 1000 adjusted to suit me. Any thoughts or insight? l can get highs and lows but am looking for mids. |

They normally sound best in something approaching a mirror image of each other, with either the mid at ten o'clock and the shift at 2 o'clock or vice versa. If you boost the low mids, you'll probably have to reduce the lows.

| Never had a 1000 but try setting your bass and treble between 4 1\2 to 6 mids 2 or so mess with that when you get the bass and treble as good as you can if sounds bad move both up a very little at a time. you can add a small amount of mids if need be. when you want more highs subtract a little bass but if you need if you want more lows subtract a little treble then see were you are I would probably start the B&T at 5 1\2 and mids at4 whatever you are after use the opposite of what you would think you need to find the setting something to make all the strings blend where they can be heard. Every ones ear is different pick your favorite steel players tone you want mimic and tweek until you here it If your notes sound like what you are hearing on a C D set pleasing to your ear you should be happy. persistence pays off. I play with c ds with headphones on one ear till learn something I want to play After I learn it I try to play along at a volume I can hear both and therefore can compare tone. hope this helps this idea is from John Lemay's article. |
