Hi -
Can anybody give me the dimensions, including depth, of the Lace Alumitone 10-string pickup? I'm finding nothing on the Lace site.
Thanks -

It's the 4 inch bass bar, IIRC. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

Like some other pickups, the top plate, or top dimension in this case, is wider than the base. The one I have is 1.5 at the very top, first 1/8". The legs are little less than 3/4" tall from there down and are 1.25 wide. The mounting holes are about 1.2 apart.
With the mounting screws, you would need app. 1 3/8" clearance down inside the mounting cavity. The topmost 1.5 width wouldn't interfere as it rises above the pick-up cut out.
Don't hold me to it, but it appears it would fit in a 1 3/8" pickup slot, as long as the cavity is not more than 11/16" or so deep. Maybe someone who's done it will look in on this thread.
[The steel guitar 10 st. neck takes the 4" unit]. |

It is the 4" model, designated as intended for a 5 string bass guitar. |

Thanks - pickup is here and fits perfectly. Sounds pretty good, too.
