I posted in the pedal steel forum a year and a half ago that a guy was wanting me to tune up his Perm, but it needed a complete rejiggering.
Two C6th fingers are replacements, but identical.
Here are some pictures, I'll try to find the pictures in the other thread.
Basically I'm a bit over my head, and every time I get a few hours to work on it, it takes me hours to remember where I was. I have made a whiffletree (a variety of yoke) to allow P8 to be a proper P8.
The owner, Jim Bennett, (one of my FB friends) wants to turn it into money. I believe he's asking 1500. He knows nothing about pedal steels, so if you have questions about the guitar, ask me. If you have questions about the transaction, his number is 785-five five four sick too sick one (I'm given to understand that spambots are reading spelled-out numbers now).

I have a list of how many rods of what length, but it's not with me now.

It has 8 factory pedals and two homebrew knees.
If I had the money to buy it and the time to futz with it, I wouldn't be posting this.
Someone buy it and bring it back to life

Would you mind posting some close ups so we can see what we'd be getting ourselves into?

I've had to change phones, and I don't have all the pics I've taken. Here's the thread where I was seeking advice. Many pics in the thread

If there are specific pics you need, I can take some when I'm home

He seems to think he can get 1700.
I've tried telling him that's optimistic.
It's got TONE, but it needs someone who knows these things.

1700 is not bad if he's a good watchdog and has good tone Wink

Three weeks ago, he was stricken with Old Dog Vestibular Disease.
He's getting his personality back but he's still wobbly and has a head tilt.
But a 15 year old pit bull is well beyond standard life expectancy.
