Great work Ricky on that Miss Leslie tune.
As for the song in question from Chris Stapleton, Fire Away, it might be my favorite song on the album.
I had been following Chris since his days in the Steeldrivers so I went down to my local record store the week it was released going on two years ago to buy the CD (the record store owners are mutual friends of b0b and I).
They had only ordered one copy, and it went home with me.
I told one of the guys, "you better stock up on this one - Stapleton is going to be big."
Sometimes I get it right!

Robby is a favorite of mine. And the album is great. The stuff Chris is putting out is great along with Whitey Morgan and Cody Jinks(Two of my current favorites). And I can't leave out the stuff Robby played on Sturgill's albums. Fantastic runs on some of those tunes. |
