Here's my Weissenborn arrangement of seven classic film & TV Western themes for lap steel that appears in my book, "18 Arrangements for Dobro & Weissenborn Acoustic Lap Steel Guitar." I played it on my 1997 Bear Creek in Open D tuning (D,A,D,F#,A,D) low-to-Hi.

The songs are:
1. Red River Valley
2. Have Gun will Travel
3. Rawhide
3. The Rifleman
4. The Good, The Bad & the Ugly
5.The Magnificent Seven
6. Hang 'Em High
7. High Noon (Do Not Forsake Me)
I tend to play it a little differently each time so there's a tiny bit of variance to the exact printed arrangement but it's pretty close. If you have the book, in "High Noon", I added a turnaround with these major chords: G, D, E, A.

Yes, the Magnificent Seven theme seems to sum up the grandeur of the Western landscape about as well as any ever written. The recent remake the 1960 film was really disappointing - and they wasted the theme on the end credits.
