To start the year out right, here is a sample of one of the cuts from my new CD that's coming out this year. Album name:
"Thou Shalt not Steel"

Get ready to throw the rotten tomatoes!

Thx John.
I believe I remember you from New Jersey back when I lived there in the 1970s. Am I correct?

Happy NY.

Larry,
I do have some more but waiting to get more together. I have six out of ten done.

Here is a sample of one minus the guitar track that needs to be mixed yet.

http://picosong.com/Hbsq/

I've been wanting to try a project for a while to see how reasonable I could do a marketable recording/instrumental on a shoestring budget in my home. As you are aware, technology has grown leaps and bounds in a short time period. What I used:

ZUM STEEL
ZOOM H4n with built in X&Y mics
Rack mount effects unit
Peavey amp
Band in a Box software

The nice thing about this, is you're not in a rush as you're only using your time in your own privacy. Yes there is some non-perfect challenges. As you get better at the situation with experience, you work them out. Lots of fun for me.

Hi Robert,
Thats fine with me. Last I saw you was at a demo my wife got called to sing on. I tagged along and you were playing steel on it.

Hope you're fine. Stay in touch.

Paul,
I don't mind at all. All of us have woodshed others licks.

Thx Dale. I've been having a lot of fun. I stopped playing steel for about 12 years and then got back into it the past 1.5 years.

Wow Ron... I stopped a couple of times for 6 and 8 years, and have been playing again now about 6 or 7 years, and I’m no where after that length of time back where you are now... but then I guess I probably wasn’t where you were when you stoped playing either Laughing... Love the way you play... Hope to hear more of you.
