I am buying a walker SS to use with my profex 2' just wondering what your thoughts would be on using a 12" esp and a 15" esp? Also if anyone uses the profex maybe a photo of the wiring to connect....thanks jack

I have 2 Walker S/S amps. One has a Lexicon MX-300 with 2 Peavey 12" Black Widows
and the other has a Lexicon MX-400 and 2 Peavey 15" Black Widows. Both sound great.

Carl, I have a lot of black widows and have used them before and I do not believe you could get a better sound, but my question is using a esp 12 and a esp 15 at the same time (both 4 ohm) ? Also if anyone is using a profex 2 with the walker I need to see some photos of the wiring hookup....thanks jack....( I am thinking about using the esp,s mainly for the weight)

You can use a 12" and 15" speaker together with no problems.
Use 1 of each size or 2 of the same size. The sound is very close.

Carl, thanks for the info, I am going to try it this way and may trade either the 12 esp for a 15 esp ( or vice versa) ....thanks jack

Jack,

Even if the volume level is different between the two sizes of speakers, the Stereo Steel has separate left and right volume controls that will let you compensate for that.

I have the Walker cabs with 15" JBLs in them, BTW.

I have the 15" JBL re-cones in Walker cabs for my Stereo Steel. All of the Walker units I have seen place the effects unit in parallel and wired as 2 channel stereo.
