Bought this about a year ago from Lynn Stafford. I love the steel, but have no time to play/learn it, and don't see that changing in the future. Not going to be shipping this steel, I live in Nashville and can meet you within a reasonable distance. Cash/PayPal only. Asking $4,000 but make me an offer. The only possible trade would be a S10 3x5 and cash. PM me with offers and questions.

Tyler
It looks like RKL on C6 is lowering s.2 and s.7 . Is that correct?

Herb,

The C6 RKL has a drop rod and some set collars on position 7 that are being used as a stop device for the lever. There is no drop at all for string 2.

Folks,

Someone is missing out on a great deal here at the current price of $3500! This guitar was completely rebuilt from top to bottom and the finish is original!

I might have just shorted out my laptop from all the drool that just landed on my keyboard... What a beauty... I suppose the wood is as flawless as it looks too.

Use to have a D12 that was similar in color. Maybe some day I can get one like this again. Mr. Lynn is a good guy.

Back for sale. I've had some great trade offers, but to be honest those steels wouldn't get played either, so I'm just looking for cash. $3,500 still, I just want it in a home where it will be played!

Ron,

Here are a few more photos of the guitar that I took about a year ago, before I shipped it to Tyler. As you can see, there are a few very minor flaws in the finish on top between the necks. Also, there is some checking on the clear coat overall that's really only visible when you get close up. Tyler and I discussed refinishing the cabinet but we both decided that the original finish still looked very good for its age. We decided to leave it "as is" for originality's sake.

Thanks Lynn and Tyler -

I was curious if the shading carried over to the top deck......as the photos clearly show

I can understand why you decided to leave the finish original...it's a beautiful steel

How can this guitar still be for sale? If I didn't have a similar one (albeit with wood necks), I'd pull the trigger at that price. It's not only beautiful, it's been rebuilt by Lynn.
