I'm sending my Sierra pedal steel guitar to Hawaii. Any advice on where to get a box, how to pack, and who to use as a shipping carrier?
If it matters, i'm also sending a tricone.

Thanks!

Greg Cutshaw on his website at www.gregcutshaw.com has a comprehensive guide to packing. The importanc bit is several wooden blocks to reinforce the wall between the guitar and pedal bar section.
Blocking, bracing, padding.
Bear in mind that you have a nearly fifty percent chance of it getting dropped.

Hi Paul, I live in Kauai and Anchorage....If I don't travel with my guitars I use the USPS Priority shipping...much cheaper than UPS or FEDEX Ground....Larry Very Happy
