Hi everyone:
This is dated between 8/10/37 to before 1940. Serial number is C1528
I have owned this guitar since about 1980. In 1988 I had Kellisons Guitars of Billings Mt replace the pots and clean and fix any wiring that may have needed fixing.
This plays and sounds wonderful. The strings are now older than the hills. I rarely take it out to play for fear of dropping it. Looking at the pictures you will notice one bent original tuner. Only one tuner has been replaced with as near an exact one as possible. This was done before 1980.
The body is very nice, All original metal cover plates. I believe these are the original knobs.
Case is in bad need of recovering but still protects the guitar very well.
$895.00 + $35 for shipping in continental USA. If shipping is less I will refund difference. Outside of lower 48 I must charge actual shipping amount, no more, no less. This will be insured and signature confirmation required. I will accept personal check and send guitar when check clears, also paypal, I will absorb the 3% fee, & postal money order.
Need to sell soon, any questions email or PM me.
Thanks much
Dick

PS I would consider trades as long as I can clear around $500 cash.

Thanks Basil for your positive note. It really is, I know this should be perhaps in the $1200 range probably. I have in the past received very nice bargains from our steel friends on SGF and I am not trying to make a big killing here.

The feeling is mutual, Dick and we are lucky indeed that b0b began and continues to keep this Forum going. For me, much has been learned about steel guitar and non-steel related thoughts, activities etc.

Then there is the also the collegiality. Stevet

Thanks for considering me & working with me Dick, you're a top guy to deal with.
Congrats. to the new owner, I know he/she won't be sorry! Cool
Ditto what Steve said - Cheers b0b - people like me from far away places, wouldn't normally get the opportunity to access items like this, without the SGF. Very Happy
