Here is a nice Sierra Olympic Pedal Steel, one of those closet Guitars you hear about. It does have one little nick & that's it. It is setup Emmons with a Franklin Pedal, in the # 4 spot. It has 4 knee levers. These pictures were taken today. Except for the nick, it looks like a new one.

The nick is on the left side of the guitar, in the second picture, it is on the side & very small.

Case is in very good condition. I will take some pics of it & the front of the Steel & post them soon...

The guitar is priced at $2000.00 (shipped & insured)

I really don't know exactly what the guitar weighs. Maybe some of the GURUs on SGF have an idea.

It weighed 74 pounds when shipped (stated on the label on the box) in it's heavy duty case with extra dunnage added. I would estimate the cardboard shipping box & extra packing material weigh in at 8 pounds plus.

I would guestimate the guitars at 40 pounds +-. I am 74 & have have no problem moving them around. When I leave my property, my personal Sierra Olympic goes with me in My Ford Expedition. The guitar I'm selling is hidden under my Pool Table. Nobody will get it out of there, because it's hidden & difficult to get out. I planned it that way.

I think my AMP weighs more than my Steel Guitar...

For those who don't know: Those are built to last. They sound wonderful and play like butta. That weight is about right, my Zum S12U weighs 38 lbs. and is very manageable to move around. Get a set of split cases.

My Sierra is also a S12U on a double frame. Heavy. It's about 54 lbs. but I still play it on stage often. It rides in two cases--the main case is a modified keyboard canvas case. I added some plywood on the inside to stiffen and lots of foam packing pieces--a lot of work. There are some cases made like the old drum cases that would be better I'm considering getting.

Love the Sierras, particularly those Olympic models.
