I was more or less laying off pedal steel anyway, trying not to aggravate a persistent foot wound, but with the addition of this cast (a proven boon to healing), the Sho-Bud will go back in the case for a while and I'll be reacquainting myself with this or that Dual Professional or other consoles.

(Truth is, even with the cast, my ability to roll my ankle between A and B isn't noticeably worse than without.)
