What would the steel guitar community do without Ken Fox???? I have to give him a shout out for his work on my ProfexII installing a battery less mod and cleaning the mother board from battery leakage.... Plus you get top notch customer service..... Ken we all owe you a debt of gratitude to your services to the steel guitar community.... Mike

I got a Brr Brown Kit from Ken Fox and I never read directions and I messed the Amp up. I have a friend that his son lives 10 minuates from Ken Fox and my friend Ray Thomas had his son take my Amps head and reverb down to kenand he fixed it for me. He charged me $25.00 for the work he done and i told my wife no way I sent him $50.00 and that is the kind of guy Ken Fox is. He is a great guy to do this for people he does not know. Ken Fox Thank you for your being a fair guy.

Ken went above and beyond with a resto on my Music Man HD130 head. Brilliant service at a very generous price. I think of Ken everytime I fire that sucker up - and its one of my forever amps now.

Please add my name to the satisfied customer list. Ken recently performed a tune up on my tube amp and it not only sounds great, but now runs nearly whisper quiet.

I appreciate all of you so much. As many of you know I closed the shop at the end of 2012 and went through a divorce. I am blessed to have remarried and have a most wonderful and loving wife.

I just now started unpacking the old shop stuff and set up a small space in the back of her 3 car garage. Just taking on a few things every now and then. Had a few of my Fox amps in for checkups recently. Definitely want to keep it at a slow pace. No plans to build amps or ever work on solid state amp repair. Just a few vintage tube amps, some Profex work, etc. I have found that most Tubefex and Transtubefex are beyond repair that have had battery leakage. Got one of each myself that were beyond full repair. Those units had three layer boards and the inner board gets contaminated from the acid, then no hope to fix one. A lot of Profex and Bassfex are still salvageable, but not all for sure. I have a Bassfex that was beyond any hope. I use it just to initialize battery-less mod chips that I sell. That way the chips are verified good and they are then easier to insert into a socket for the end user.
