Gotta go to bed, but thought I'd post 3 pics from the PSGA show (move to "Event Announcements" if appropriate).

Buck's Infinity has been traded and resold already. Of course, as Craig has already stated, his G2 sounded spectacular. Great pics Chris. Had a reslly great time, both at the show and on the ride to and from. Thanks for posting the pics. _________________ John Brabant

When I enjoy a steel player's playing, I refer to his/her steel as "dripping with grease".
Obsessed steelers or a greasy bunch too.
I had so much fun with some of the greasiest steel players on the planet!
We had last call in the room at 4am and we had us a huge ol' time.
Just like back in the day (no pun intended).
Sorry if we bothered anyone on the Double-tree 4th floor with the noise.
What is the full name of the person in the middle? _________________ Excel 3/4 Pedal With An 8 String Hawaiian Neck, Sierra Tapper (10 string with a raised fretboard to fret with fingers), Single neck Fessenden 3/5

Chris ,
Guy in the middle is Jim Gable, John correct me if the spelling is wrong.
As for the session on Saturday night, I don't think I have laughed so much in my entire life, as well as you did, and I won't remind you why, only a few know.
Great listening to our heros on John's Ipod and makeshift speakers, of all our steel guitar heros, Buddy Cage, John David Call, Sneaky Pete, and most of all Chris and Buddy.
Let's do it again next year! _________________ Regards, Craig

Hey Chris. It was great to finally meet you and get to see your tapper!
Cindy and Buck played killer sets. I wish I could have come up a day earlier for Buck's seminar, which I heard great things about. I was particularly impressed by the new, younger guys on the program: John Eichleay, Raphael McGregor, and Jonny Lam, all 3 of whom played really fine, professional sets. I hope they will become regulars on the show. It's the shot of new blood that the show needs to continue into the future. Having said that, the room was full and it was a great crowd, so something's working!
See you next time!

John Eichleay was awesome, from Brooklynn NY, totally enjoyed his set.
Jonny Lam also from NYC was soo good, brought his band in and mopped up the floor, what a treat. Thanks Jonny!
Cindy needs no introduction, she rocked the house and played some great Dobro on her new beautiful Beard. Thanks for making the trip down from Woodstock, hope to see you again next year.
Gentleman Buck Reid, was just flawless, if you missed the Saturday night show at the Piedmont Club, don't miss it next year. Jim Pittman and Jeff DeMaio also delighted the crowd along with the Gunsmoke band.

I forgot to mention Cindy's fellow 'Woodstockian' Footch on the Fiddle, along with Van Manakas on Tele, Larry Eagle on drums, and Steve Alcott on Bass, the hardest working band in the Northeast. _________________ Regards, Craig

Yep, all the players were really great. And Jim Cohen is right about the new blood inhabiting the stage. Really came away feeling like we are on the brink of seeing an expansion of younger talent at the PSGA show. Renew your memberships everyone and get your friends to become members. The PSGA needs everyone's support if it is to continue on.
In the spelling category, Chris and Craig, the tall guy in the middle is our great buddy Jim Giebel of Centerville, NY. And Jim Pitman's name has but one "T" in it.
Yes, fun, fun, fun.... _________________ John Brabant

Craig- That was a ball! Fun to do social time with you characters.
Here's that duet we listened to, I did with Buddy.
It's a song I wrote called Lakehouse Waltz"
http://picosong.com/Yxvv/
I was so nervous to record with Buddy, that I tugged a little too hard on my new strings and made thin spots, so some of the fret markers were off, hence all the single note lines on my part.
Buddy's part is fantastic and for me, it has a certain holiday season sound.
It was recorded at Bobbe Seymour's studio, in the late 80's.
I give a nod to Joni Mitchell's "For Free" on the bridge. _________________ Excel 3/4 Pedal With An 8 String Hawaiian Neck, Sierra Tapper (10 string with a raised fretboard to fret with fingers), Single neck Fessenden 3/5
